Luke Chapter Eight (Don’t Mess with Sleepy Jesus)

A lot happens in Luke Chapter Eight as Jesus seems to be upping the ante on his miracles. The more and more people have fave in him the more he is able to utilize the powers of God to heal, manipulate, and transform our reality. The validity of Jesus’ humanity is given to us more and more through the power of faith, and the wonders of God are shown through the love, mercy, compassion, and character of his son Jesus.

As a modern listener, we are pushed hard in this chapter because the realness of Jesus doing these things still surpasses our comprehension even with modern technology and resources, but my hope is that in these studies your curiosity triumphs over your disbelief and your heart to learn more about the one who loves your supersedes your doubt that leads towards bitterness and ultimately loneliness.

God Bless,

James Arthur Ferguson

PS- Here is a book I am currently studying alongside Robert H. Stein. It is written by Timothy Keller and has very sound apologetics.
