Another action packed chapter as Jesus brings his ministry towards its pinnacle. The Transfiguration of Jesus brings in two powerhouse biblical characters Moses and Elijah as they assist in his preparations to march into Jerusalem. Jesus begins foretelling his death to his apostles as they continue to struggle in understanding some of Jesus parables. The emphasis on faith could not be more present as Jesus calls this generation faithless.
So much happens in the chapter that it is hard to recap, but one thing is for sure. Jesus calls his followers to avoid distractions “AT ALL COSTS”. He urges his people to pick up their crosses daily and follow him.
