Luke Chapter Fourteen (Israel Rising)

As Jesus is invited to the house of a Pharisee he is outnumbered by both Pharisees and lawmakers who are seeking to trap him in a battle of wits. Jesus fills their ears with parables, teachings, and questions that leave them frustrated and confused to say the least. When Jesus talks about the cost of discipleship it is easy to see that he is an “all in” type of person. We have read now in several circumstances where Jesus proclaims the power that faith can bring, who/what is required to be fitted for the kingdom of God, and through parables we know just how serious Jesus was when it came to assisting those in need.

A lot of feelings should be stirred at this point when it comes to pursuing a continuous relationship with God because being half-in is clearly not an option. Thank you all for tuning in and supporting. I hope this tool continues to inspire you and assist in your growing relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. https://anchor.fm/james-arthur-ferguson/episodes/Luke-Chapter-Fourteen-Israel-ev4qu8
