This chapter is one of my favorites in the book of Luke as I write this simply because of how much emphasis there is on the intimacy of God and His Kingdom. Jesus reiterates in three ways how much joy there is when a sinner repents and comes to the Father, the Shepherd, and the Woman. Jesus has a way of telling parables that casts out a net of grace and comfort that covers all types of people regardless of age, race, or gender and he does it through love by rejoicing when those who are lost become found.
None of us are perfect, and all of us fall short of the glory of God, but we are all able to be covered by the grace, mercy, and truth that is the blood sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and his power to overcome death through the Holy Spirit and the Will of God.
I hope this resource blesses you, and guides you further into an intimate and infinite relationship with God. https://anchor.fm/james-arthur-ferguson/episodes/Luke-Chapter-Fifteen-Kingdom-Content-evjthg
