Chapter One: The A.R.C. Simulation
Welcome into Dreamland, where the impossible becomes possible and reality is only a matter of perception. In this first installment of the series, we delve into the ARC Simulation, a revolutionary experiment that challenges our understanding of the universe and its limits.
At the heart of the A.R.C. Simulation lies Milo, the Great Programmer, whose brilliance and vision have made this grand experiment possible. Together with the Chosen Twelve, Milo has crafted a new world on the moon, a world where the forces of nature and the mysteries of the cosmos converge in a breathtaking display of wonder and imagination.
But the A.R.C. Simulation is more than just a scientific endeavor – it is also a journey of the heart, as the Healers of Dreamland confront their inner demons and struggles to find meaning and purpose in a world that is both exhilarating and treacherous.
As we embark on this epic adventure, we will witness the birth of a new era, where the boundaries of science, spirituality, and humanity are blurred, and the mysteries of the universe are finally unlocked. So come, join us on this journey of discovery and enlightenment, as we explore the wonders of Dreamland and the infinite possibilities of the A.R.C. Simulation.
As I, Milo, stand before the entrance of the Artificial Reality Center (A.R.C.) located on Earth’s moon, I cannot help but feel both excitement and apprehension. The A.R.C. Simulation has been designed to test the limits of humanity’s ability to adapt to immortality, and I am grateful to the twelve individuals who have been selected to take part in this groundbreaking experiment.
To these twelve contestants, I extend my sincerest thanks for your willingness to participate in this endeavor. You have been chosen from all corners of the globe, representing the diverse cultures and backgrounds that make up humanity. For the next twenty-four Earth hours, you will experience ten thousand cycles within the A.R.C. Simulation, equivalent to ten thousand Earth years.
I understand that this experience will not be easy, and that it will challenge you in ways that you cannot yet imagine. But I have faith that each and every one of you possesses the strength and resilience to overcome any obstacle that may come your way.
I also extend my congratulations to the Earth as a whole for having come so far as to be considered a candidate for the Galactic Federation. It is a testament to the progress that humanity has made, and I am honored to be a part of this moment in history.
So let us begin this journey together, with open hearts and open minds. The future of humanity lies in your hands, and I have no doubt that you will rise to the challenge.
Over the intercom the contestants all hear, “Welcome to your moon! Also, welcome to the A.R.C. I imagine this is a very exciting moment for a species that has seldom experienced gravity beyond your homeworld. My name is Milo. On earth, I believe my name means merciful or soldier of mercy. To humans, it is a unisex name, but for us it is just a name. I must say that twelve is the most perfect number earth could have chosen for the Simulation considering humanity’s past. Please trust me when I say how grateful I am to be running the Simulation for earth’s bravest, mightiest, and most reputable selected heroes. I have been studying your world for thousands of earth years, and it is my honor to say that you are ready for Judgment Day.
Now, to explain more thoroughly… The ARC Simulation is designed to test your species ability to thrive within the galactic society known as the UIL, or Union of Intergalactic Lifeforms. By passing this test, it proves to the rest of the Universe that humanity is ready for the luxury of living without sin. Yes, this means no pain, no suffering, no sadness, no hunger, and no death.
We have constructed the Artificial Reality Center on your moon to view earth, and to collect data since our arrival (which was right after the earth experienced a global flood). Considering an event of this magnitude would normally wipe out any or all of intelligent life, I was sure that the survival of your species was proof to consider you for the Simulation. I am so happy that I stuck around because you have far surpassed our initial beliefs. And so, congratulations for making it this far. The Global Internet alone typically allows a species to be selected, but what we all love about earth is that your species is so vast and colorful. We absolutely wanted to include this in the Simulation.
So, what is going to happen is that you will step into the ARC’s heart where you will go through a Ten Thousand Cycle test. This test will last twenty-four hours, but for you, it will seem to be about ten thousand years. This is to see what earth will make of immortality. The UIL is a sinless, immortal society that spans farther than any of you will ever imagine, but even a sinless society can experience forms of trial and tribulation. The Simulation will be the hardest thing any of you have been or will ever go through, and all you have to do is make it to the end. Simple enough right?”
The twelve representatives of earth looked around at each other with a spectrum of emotions. Jiana, a Nigerian with Egyptian heritage, looked down to see a beautiful gray hued jewel around her neck. She then looked around at each of the eleven who wore a necklace just as she did, but each with its own color. Being a group gathered from across the globe, each person played a pivotal role in society and from their country. Milo continued to describe how the ARC worked and though the twelve were intently listening they could only truly capture a few meanings regarding this alien technology. Milo seemed to be like a kid in a candy store as he gazed at the structure of the arc. It appeared to be a metal unknown to earth and powered by a source also unfamiliar to all of the earthlings. The starstruck energy of being in the presence of an intelligent lifeform clearly far superior to humanity lingered throughout the entire preparation period.
Milo concluded the presentation by saying, “Now, in three days we will be putting you all under, and every single one of you must be completely clean going in. So, you may only drink the water inside the lounge area, and none of you can eat for the next three days. On the third day we will give you a solution that will pair your bodies to the ARC and during the Simulation we will be sure to monitor all of your vitals.
For those of you who seem worried, you will be given all required nutrients as soon as you return from the Simulation. Disrupting the fast will lead to an inability for your body to adapt to the Simulation and I promise you that it will not be pleasant. Anyways, please spend the next three days with each other as ten thousand years can seem much longer than an eternity for you mortals.” Milo giggled as he left the room and went behind a tinted glass mirror. The twelve walked together back into the lounging area from the ARC’s heart.
Jiana, the representative from Africa, spoke out loud to the group first. “I am Jiana, a proud Nigerian/Egyptian.” It was then that Jiana realized that even though she spoke within her head what came out was not her native tongue. Over the intercom Milo’s voice sounded, “As you may have found, in the ARC we only hear and speak in the one language of the UIL. I will see you all tomorrow so enjoy your evening.” Jiana and several others smiled having never experienced such advanced technology.
Immediately, the girls Hayami from Tokyo, Alice from Istanbul, Wang-Jing from Shanghai, Yekaterian from Moscow and Jiana from Nigeria grouped together and began getting to know one another. Rosa, from Mexico City, found herself gravitating towards a Brazilian named Paulo from Sao Paulo. The rest broke off into two groups. One group contained Joshua from the United States, David from Israel, and Oliver from Australia. The other group was Dakari from Mumbai, India and James from Toronoto, Canada.
Milo sat in a control room watching intently as the twelve could not be more different from one another. Knowing that the UIL contains hundreds of thousands of different lifeforms Milo always held immense regard for how different, yet similar humanity had evolved.
Jiana soon addressed the entire group inquiring why each may have had different colored necklaces. Paulo was quick to say, “Maybe because it is our favorite colors?” while Jiana replied, “And whose favorite color is gray?”. The group chuckled as Yekaterina said with a stoic monotone, “It is so the ARC can identify us! Milo was very descriptive regarding the function of the necklace.” The rest of the group was a blend of curiosity regarding the stones embedded in unidentifiable metals along with hunger pains knowing that none could eat for the next several days, or until the ARC Simulation was over.
Most of the group went to bed after having been completely overwhelmed by the travel from earth to the moon along with meeting Milo (a real life alien). These excitements were overwhelming to say the least and that is not to include the sheer amount of information dumped on them regarding “Judgment Day”. Yekaterina, Joshua, Dakari, and James stayed up later than the rest due to their adrenaline keeping them from sleep.
And so, the entirety of earth was locked onto the activity occurring on the moon. Every nation and every media outlet was keenly watching, waiting, and wondering what the outcome of humanity would be. Would humanity pass the test to become a multi-planetary species? Or would humanity fall forever into its sin of selfishness, and become rejected by the Union of Intergalactic Lifeforms and ultimately the Intergalactic Federation.
Yes, as Milo, the creator of the ARC Simulation, the contestants are being referred to or called as the colors of the stones within their necklaces because it helps to create a level playing field. Within the simulation, each contestant’s background and culture are removed, and they are all placed on an equal footing. By referring to them by their assigned colors, it reduces any potential bias or preconceived notions that could come from their original identities.
As for the elimination of aging and gender, it is necessary for the simulation to work properly. Since the contestants will be living for ten thousand cycles, or ten thousand years equivalent to twenty-four earth hours, they must be able to maintain their physical abilities and appearance throughout the simulation. Without the elimination of aging, they would eventually become frail and unable to participate in the challenges within the simulation.
Additionally, the elimination of gender is necessary because it removes any potential biases or prejudices that could arise from gender differences. This allows for a fair and balanced competition, where each contestant can focus on their individual abilities and strengths without being influenced by gender-based expectations.
Overall, these measures have been put in place to ensure that the ARC Simulation is a fair and unbiased test, where each contestant has an equal chance to succeed and potentially join the Galactic Federation as an immortal being.

Chapter Two: Earth’s Chance
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to chapter two of Dreamland Adventures, titled “Earth’s Chance”. As we saw in the previous chapter, our twelve contestants have been selected to participate in a groundbreaking experiment that will test the limits of humanity’s ability to convert mortals into immortals. But before they step into the Artificial Reality Center, also known as the ARC, to embark on their ten thousand-year journey, some of our contestants are taking the opportunity to socialize and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a time of bonding and camaraderie, as these individuals from different corners of the world come together to embark on this historic mission. So sit back, relax, and join us as we witness the beginning of an adventure that will test not only the contestants but also the fate of humanity itself.
Dakari was the first to introduce himself to James, Joshua, and Yekaterina. Dakari was from Mumbai, India and grew up rather poor. Being an orphan and one of millions like him in his country, Dakari had to fight for his place at any table he found himself at. He found himself being brought into the house of Kovind as a teenager to be a protector and guard and found himself climbing into political power after controversially marrying into the family. James and Yekaterina remained reserved as Joshua proudly explained his American heritage.
Joshua, being raised as a black American, had a lot to prove in regards to becoming a man in a system designed to oppress people like him. Joshua was raised in one of the most heavily populated and diverse cities in the world, New York, New York. Using his influence and charisma he led a life that took him all the way to Vice President of the United States before being called to serve in the A.R.C. Simulation.
Joshua became the youngest Vice President in American History by showcasing his knowledge and research on public social media platforms starting when he was fourteen. By the time he was thirty years old he not only had taught himself over thirty different languages fluently, but he had engineered a linking platform compatible on all electronic devices. Joshua’s ability to learn quickly and adapt not only made him a well-loved public figure by his early twenties, but the networking through his innovative talents also allowed for him to be voted into office on his thirty-fifth birthday. Now, thirty-nine, Joshua is serving his country in a brand new way, by becoming the American Representative of all one point nine billion United States citizens.
Yekaterina is the active Colonel of the formerly known KGB which dissipated during the attempt to start World War three by merging alliances with Saudi Arabia’s GIP in attempts to undermine China and the United States from continuing to lead in technological developments. Since then, the KGB has been known as the SURP or the Soviet Union Revival Project in gathering peoples with Russian heritage from all over the globe back to the motherland to rebuild. Their strategy was modeled after the plans of Israel in the mid twentieth century.
James sat with these three and listened intently to their stories. He was from a small town in Canada and had a relatively unremarkable upbringing. He excelled in his studies and worked his way up the ranks to become a successful businessman, eventually founding his own technology company. James was always fascinated with space and the possibility of extraterrestrial life, which led him to be chosen as Canada’s representative in the ARC Simulation. Despite his reserved nature, James was excited to embark on this journey and was eager to see what lay ahead in the simulated world of Dreamland. As they continued to converse, they were unaware of the challenges and tests that awaited them inside the ARC.
As Joshua lay in his pod, he felt his heart rate quicken
An unease inside him made his mind start to thicken
For in the dead of night, he heard a whispered talk
A strategy being planned as he tried to block
“Do they not understand?” Joshua thought with a frown
“That we’ll have no memory when the simulation goes down?”
But then he saw Yekaterina pass out pills to take
And watched as two of his peers made no mistake
James put his in his pocket, but the others swallowed
And Joshua wondered if he should be worried and hollowed
But before he could say a word or take any action
Wang Jing rushed to the bathroom, in need of extraction
In the stillness of the night, as Wang Jing retched and cried
The other contestants gathered around her and tried
To offer their help and summon Milo with haste
But Wang Jing insisted that it was only her nerves, misplaced
The morning came, and the contestants emerged from their sleep
Ready to face the simulation, to take the final leap
Joshua couldn’t shake off the events of the night before
But he put his trust in the process, as he had done before.
Milo, the mastermind behind the ARC Simulation, stood at the entrance with a mischievous twinkle in his eye as he awaited the arrival of the twelve contestants. He fidgeted with excitement, his fingers tapping rhythmically against the smooth surface of the control panel. Suddenly, the doors slid open with a soft hiss, and the contestants, dressed in their shimmering necklaces, entered the chamber with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
As they stepped inside, their eyes widened with wonder at the ethereal beauty of the ARC Simulation’s interior. The walls were adorned with rare space minerals that glimmered in the soft light, and the floors were made of moonrock that seemed to glow from within. The Healers’ feet sunk into the soft surface, and they felt a sense of weightlessness that transported them into a new world.
Milo guided them to their pods, his voice echoing in the vast chamber like a gentle breeze. The contestants settled into their seats, their eyes darting around the room as they nervously awaited the start of the simulation. Milo grinned, his fingers dancing over the control panel as he initiated the sequence. The Healers were enveloped in a bright light, and they felt their bodies dissolve into nothingness as they were transported into the unknown.
As the Healers stepped inside the chamber, Milo’s voice echoed through the room, “Welcome Healers, to the ARC Simulation. You are no longer contestants but Healers, for it is your task to heal this simulated world and bring it to a place of balance and harmony.”
The Healers could feel the weight of the responsibility that lay upon their shoulders. Milo continued, “You are now stepping into the pods, which will connect you to the ARC Simulation. The pods are designed to resemble the womb of a human, nurturing and protecting you as you journey through the simulation.
“Inside the pods, you will be in a state of stasis, but the supercomputer will be analyzing your vitals, ensuring that you are healthy and safe. It will also be live streaming your data to the entire planet, allowing the world to witness your journey as you heal and restore balance to the simulated world.
“Remember, Healers, you are not alone in this journey. The entire world is watching and rooting for you. Now, step inside the pods and let the journey begin.”
The Healers looked at the pods in front of them, marveling at their design. The interior of the pods was made of space minerals and moonrock, and the soft glow of the lights within created an ethereal ambiance. As they stepped inside, they could feel a sense of calm wash over them, the warmth of the pod cocooning them in its embrace.
The door of the pod slid shut, and they could hear the hum of the machine as it came to life. The supercomputer’s voice echoed through the chamber, “All Healers connected. Initiating ARC Simulation in 3… 2… 1…”
And with that, the Healers were transported into the simulated world, ready to heal and restore balance.
Yellow emerged from the pod, her body coated in a slimy, translucent substance that felt oddly comforting against her skin. She took a deep breath of the unfamiliar air, feeling a thrill of excitement mixed with apprehension. Her eyes scanned the dense foliage around her, taking in the vibrant shades of green and the alien flora that surrounded her.
As she stepped forward, her feet sinking into the soft soil, she felt a sense of freedom and weightlessness that she had never experienced before. Her body felt new and unburdened, as if she had been born again.
Yellow walked through the jungle, taking in the sights and sounds around her. She heard the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves as small creatures scurried by. The sun was high in the sky, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The air was thick with humidity, and the scent of the vegetation was rich and heady.
As she walked, Yellow began to feel a sense of purpose stirring within her. She remembered her name – Yellow – and knew that she had been chosen for a reason. She had a mission to fulfill in this strange new world.
The jungle around her began to thin out, revealing a large, open plain ahead. Yellow stepped out into the sunlight, feeling the warmth on her skin. In the distance, she could see a range of mountains rising up against the horizon. She felt a pull towards them, a sense of adventure and discovery.
Yellow took her first step towards the mountains, her body pulsing with anticipation. She knew that her journey was just beginning, and that there was so much more to discover in this new world.
As the portal opened, Alice felt a sudden rush of energy coursing through her body. She closed her eyes and braced herself for the unknown. As she stepped through the portal, she felt a sharp tingling sensation all over her skin, like a million tiny needles prickling her flesh.
When she opened her eyes, Alice found herself in the middle of a dense jungle, surrounded by towering trees and lush vegetation. She looked down and realized that she was completely naked. The air was thick and humid, and she could feel the sweat pouring down her back.
As Alice took in her surroundings, she noticed that everything was alive with color and movement. The trees were teeming with exotic birds and monkeys, and she could hear the sound of a nearby waterfall in the distance. She took a deep breath and marveled at the fresh, earthy scent of the jungle.
Green’s senses were heightened in the ARC Simulation. She could hear the rustling of leaves and the chirping of insects with crystal clarity. Her eyes could see farther and more vividly than ever before. It was as if her senses had been given a superpower upgrade.
Despite the newness of her surroundings, Green remained calm and collected. She knew that she was here for a reason and that she had to find out what that reason was. She used her instincts and the skills she had brought with her to navigate the jungle and find her way to her first challenge.
As the portal opens and Orange emerges from his pod, he is immediately hit with a wave of heat and humidity. The jungle around him is dense and alive with the sounds of exotic animals and insects. Orange looks down at his naked body, feeling a bit vulnerable and exposed in this new world.
But he quickly regains his composure, drawing on his survival skills from his life as Oliver in Australia. He assesses his surroundings, taking note of the various plants and animals around him. He feels a sense of excitement and wonder, knowing that he has the opportunity to explore this new world and push the limits of his abilities.
As Orange begins to move through the jungle, he realizes that he has been given enhanced physical abilities in this simulation. He can move faster, jump higher, and lift heavier objects than he ever could on Earth. He revels in the feeling of power and freedom that comes with these abilities, and sets out to explore as much of this new world as he can.
Despite the challenges and dangers that he knows he will face in this jungle, Orange feels a sense of exhilaration and joy. He is ready to embrace this new life as Orange, and to see what adventures await him in the Heart of Dreamland.
As White emerges from the portal, he is momentarily disoriented by the bright, colorful world that surrounds him. The jungle is lush and teeming with life, the air thick with the scent of exotic flowers and the chatter of unfamiliar creatures. He takes a deep breath, feeling a sense of both excitement and apprehension as he realizes that he has been reborn in this strange new world.
White looks down at his naked body, feeling a strange sense of vulnerability and freedom at the same time. He is no longer confined by the limitations of his physical form, and yet he is now exposed to the dangers of this untamed land. He takes a moment to gather his bearings, feeling the cool grass beneath his feet and the warmth of the sun on his skin.
White begins to explore the jungle, marveling at the diversity of the flora and fauna around him. He notices that he has a heightened sense of awareness and intuition, as if he is connected to the natural world in a way he never was on Earth. He discovers a small stream and dips his toes in the cool water, relishing the sensation.
As he continues his journey, White begins to realize that he has a new purpose in this world. He is no longer just James from Canada, but a Healer tasked with a sacred mission. He feels a sense of responsibility and duty to the other Healers, and to the world they have been reborn into. White takes a deep breath, ready to face whatever challenges may lie ahead.
As Joshua steps into his pod and closes his eyes, he feels a sudden rush of adrenaline as he’s transported through the portal and into the world of the ARC Simulation. His memories of his former life as Joshua fade away, replaced by a new identity as “Brown”, a healer with unique abilities and skills.
As Brown emerges from his pod, he finds himself in the Heart of Dreamland, surrounded by lush jungle vegetation and the sounds of exotic creatures. The air is thick with humidity, and the sun beats down on his skin. Despite his nakedness, he feels a sense of exhilaration as he takes his first steps into this new world.
Brown quickly realizes that he has retained all of his earthly talents and skills, and begins to explore his new surroundings. As he moves deeper into the jungle, he comes across a stream of crystal clear water, surrounded by colorful flowers and vibrant wildlife. The beauty of the world around him is breathtaking, and he feels a sense of peace and contentment.
But Brown also knows that he has a mission in this new world, to heal and to help others. He focuses his attention on honing his skills, using the resources of the jungle to create medicine and heal the sick and injured. He may be in a new world, but his purpose remains the same.
As the ARC Simulation begins, Yekaterina steps inside her pod and closes her eyes, ready to merge with her new identity. The world around her fades away as the portal opens, and she is transported to a place beyond anything she’s ever seen. As her consciousness merges with her new identity, she opens her eyes to find herself in a lush jungle, surrounded by towering trees and exotic wildlife. She feels a sense of exhilaration and awe as she takes in the vibrant colors and new smells around her.
Yekaterina looks down and realizes that she is completely naked, but the thought doesn’t bother her. She feels a sense of freedom and liberation as she embraces her new identity as Silver. As she begins to explore her surroundings, she notices that the jungle is teeming with life – from the smallest insects to the largest animals, everything seems to be in perfect harmony.
Despite the newness of her surroundings, Yekaterina maintains her composure and her ability to speak. She remembers her past life as a human on Earth, but it feels like a distant memory now. As Silver, she is immortal through the length of the simulation, which is ten thousand cycles, each cycle representing one earth year.
Yekaterina feels a sense of power and strength as she embraces her new identity, knowing that she is capable of anything. She knows that the challenges ahead will be tough, but she’s ready to face them head-on. The world around her may be new, but Silver is ready to conquer it.
As Jiana enters the ARC Simulation and merges into the new world, she feels a sense of excitement and anticipation. All of her memories of her past life on earth have been erased, but she maintains her abilities and talents as Jiana from Africa. She takes her first steps onto the soft, damp earth of the jungle, feeling the grass and soil between her toes. The air is thick with humidity, and she can hear the sounds of birds and insects all around her.
As Gray, Jiana looks around at the lush vegetation and towering trees surrounding her. The leaves and vines are a vibrant shade of green, and the sunlight filters through the canopy above, casting dappled shadows on the ground. She feels a sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of this new world, and she can’t wait to explore it further.
As she walks, Gray notices small animals darting through the undergrowth, and she catches glimpses of colorful flowers and exotic fruits. She realizes that this world is teeming with life and wonders what other secrets it might hold.
Despite being naked, Gray feels a sense of freedom and liberation in this new world. She can feel the soft earth beneath her feet and the warm sun on her skin. She realizes that she is now immortal and has ten thousand cycles to explore this world and unlock its mysteries. As she takes in her surroundings, Gray feels a sense of excitement and adventure, ready to embark on this new journey as a healer in the ARC Simulation.
As Dakari steps into the pod, he feels a wave of energy pulsing through his body. Suddenly, he is no longer in the chamber but instead, he finds himself standing in the lush jungle of the Heart of Dreamland, completely naked. He glances around and sees his fellow contestants who have also been transformed into their new personas.
Dakari realizes that he is now “Black”, and all memories of his former life have been erased. His new identity feels both exhilarating and terrifying. He remembers the briefing he received before the simulation started – in this new world, he is immortal and will remain so for ten thousand cycles.
As he takes in his surroundings, Dakari notices the intricate details of the jungle, each leaf and blade of grass seems to glisten in the sunlight. The sounds of the animals and insects echo throughout the jungle, and the air is thick with humidity.
Despite feeling a sense of fear and uncertainty, Dakari’s curiosity gets the better of him. He takes a step forward and feels the soft soil beneath his feet. He tests his voice and finds that he can still speak, and he can sense that he still possesses the skills and talents of his earthly being known as Dakari from India.
As he moves deeper into the jungle, he realizes that this new world is full of mysteries and wonders waiting to be discovered. Dakari knows that he will need to rely on his new abilities and the knowledge he gains from this simulation if he is to survive and thrive in this new world.
As David merged into the new world, his body began to tingle all over as if he was passing through a wall of electricity. Suddenly, he was thrust into a world of light and color, a world he had never seen before. He felt a rush of excitement and apprehension as he looked around at the lush, green jungle that surrounded him. He knew that he was no longer on Earth, but in a completely different world altogether.
As Blue emerged from the portal, he realized that he was completely naked, his clothes from Earth left behind. But he didn’t feel self-conscious or embarrassed; instead, he felt a sense of freedom and liberation. He looked at his body and was amazed to see that he was now taller and more muscular than he was on Earth. He felt invigorated and energized, like a new being entirely.
Blue looked around and saw that he was in the Heart of Dreamland, the jungle where all the characters in the simulation were born. He marveled at the towering trees and the vibrant colors of the flowers and birds that surrounded him. He heard the chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves and knew that he was truly alive in this new world.
Blue remembered that his name was no longer David, but rather “Blue,” and that he had been given a new identity in this simulation. He also remembered that he was now immortal, that he would live for ten thousand cycles in this new world. He felt a sense of excitement and adventure, knowing that he had an entire lifetime to explore this new land and discover all of its secrets.
As the ARC Simulation begins to take form, a portal opens up in front of Wang Jing. As she steps through it, she is transported to a new world, emerging naked in the Heart of Dreamland jungle. Everything feels unfamiliar and strange to her, and she feels disoriented and confused.
As Wang Jing looks around her new surroundings, she realizes that she has been transformed into a new being, now known as Gold. Her earthly memories have been erased, leaving her with no recollection of her previous life as Wang Jing. Unlike the other characters in the simulation, Gold does not maintain the ability to speak or any of the talents from her previous life.
Despite the lack of communication and her initial confusion, Gold slowly begins to explore her new environment, observing the other characters as they begin to interact with one another. She discovers that she has been granted the gift of immortality throughout the ten thousand cycles of the simulation. Though she is unable to speak, she is able to observe, learn, and adapt to her new surroundings.
As Paulo merged into the new world, his consciousness was transported to a new body in a completely unfamiliar environment. The world around him was a blur of colors and shapes, as if he had just woken up from a long dream. As he opened his eyes, he found himself in the middle of a dense jungle, surrounded by towering trees and a cacophony of unfamiliar sounds.
At first, Paulo was disoriented and confused, trying to remember who he was and where he came from. But then, a voice echoed in his mind, telling him that his name was now “Purple” and that he had been reborn in the ARC Simulation. All of his memories from his past life were erased, and he was now immortal through the length of the simulation, which was ten thousand cycles.
Despite the overwhelming sense of disorientation, Paulo soon realized that he still had his ability to speak and his talents as Paulo from Brazil. As he stood up, he examined his new body, noticing that he was completely naked and covered in a sheen of sweat. But he also noticed that his new body was stronger and more agile than his old one, and he could sense a power within him that he had never felt before.
As he took his first steps into this new world, Paulo felt a sense of excitement and adventure building within him. He knew that he had been given a second chance, a chance to explore a world that was beyond anything he had ever known. And so, with a deep breath and a sense of determination, Purple set out to discover what lay ahead in the Heart of Dreamland.
As the ARC Simulation begins, a bright light envelops Rosa and she feels her body being pulled in all directions. Her mind races with confusion and fear as she feels herself being torn away from the familiar reality she once knew. Suddenly, she opens her eyes and finds herself in the middle of a dense jungle. She looks around, disoriented and naked, trying to make sense of what just happened.
Slowly, the memories of her past life begin to fade away, replaced by a sense of belonging to this new world. She remembers her name is now “Red,” and that she is one of several people brought to this new reality. Red quickly realizes that she is now immortal and that she will live through ten thousand cycles of the simulation, each cycle lasting one earth year.
Despite the confusion and uncertainty, Red is filled with a sense of wonder and excitement. She feels a connection to this new world and senses that it is full of mysteries and secrets waiting to be uncovered. She remembers that she still maintains her ability to speak and use her talents, and begins to explore the jungle to see what new experiences await her. As she navigates through the dense foliage, Red can’t help but feel a sense of freedom and adventure, ready to embrace whatever the future holds.
As the twelve healers stumbled out of the portal, they took a moment to collect themselves and survey their surroundings. They all appeared hairless and lacked genitalia, which was a strange sensation for them to experience. Some of them felt exposed and vulnerable, while others found it freeing and liberating. As they looked around, they couldn’t help but notice that each of their eyes matched the colors of their names. Yellow’s eyes were a bright and cheerful yellow, Green’s were a deep emerald, Orange’s were a fiery orange, White’s were a pure and shining white, Brown’s were a warm chocolate brown, Silver’s were a bright silver, Gray’s were a cool gray, Black’s were a deep black, Blue’s were a rich and vibrant blue, Gold’s were a sparkling gold, Red’s were a fiery red, and Purple’s were a regal and deep purple.
The stones around their necks seemed to be the source of their eye colors, as they reflected the colors of the stones. It was a strange sensation, but they were all excited to see what other magical abilities they had gained from their new surroundings. As they looked around the lush jungle, some of the healers made humorous comments about the beauty of the portal they had just come through.
“Wow, talk about a grand entrance,” joked Orange, “I hope we get the same treatment when we leave!”
Silver looked around, taking in the jungle with a critical eye. “I hope we don’t have to spend too much time here,” he said, “I’m not really a nature person.”
White, on the other hand, was in awe of the surroundings. “This place is beautiful,” she said, “I can’t wait to explore and see what other wonders this world has to offer.”
Black looked around with a mischievous glint in his eye. “I wonder what kind of creatures we’ll encounter,” he said, “I hope they’re not too dangerous.”
As they all continued to take in their new surroundings, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. They were all here for a reason, and they were ready to discover what lay ahead on their journey as healers.
Chapter Three: The Chosen Twelve
Milo sits in front of his computer analyzing the massive amounts of data streaming in from the ARC Simulation. As the simulation enters its first cycle, the twelve chosen contestants have now emerged in the Heart of Dreamland. Milo pores over the data, checking every variable to ensure that the simulation runs smoothly and safely for all involved.
Suddenly, Milo receives an incoming virtual call from the world leaders of Earth. He accepts the call and sees the faces of the most powerful people on the planet looking back at him. They demand answers and updates on the ARC Simulation and its contestants. Milo takes a deep breath and begins his presentation.
He explains to the world leaders that the twelve contestants were carefully chosen from around the world for their unique abilities, skills, and personalities. Chapter Five: The Healers and the Heart:
As the twelve Healers entered the heart of Dreamland, they felt a strange sensation wash over them. It was as though they were shedding their physical identities and becoming something new. Gone were their gender and physical characteristics. They were now beings of pure consciousness, their essence distilled to its very core.
In this state, they were free to explore the vastness of Dreamland without the limitations of their physical bodies. They could move through the trees effortlessly, sensing the world around them in new and profound ways. The lush jungle teemed with life, and they could feel the energy of every living thing pulsing around them.
It was a profound experience, and one that filled them with a sense of awe and wonder. They knew that they were embarking on a journey that would last for ten thousand years, and they were eager to discover all that Dreamland had to offer.
As they began to explore, they realized that they were not alone in this place. There were other beings here, creatures of light and darkness, of beauty and horror. Some were benevolent, others malevolent, and still, others were simply indifferent to their presence.
The Healers knew that they would have to navigate this strange and mysterious world carefully if they were to succeed in their quest. They would need to learn the ways of Dreamland, to understand its mysteries and its secrets, and to harness the power of the Well of Life if they were to make it to the end of the Simulation.
And so, they set out into the heart of the jungle, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. They knew that this was just the beginning of a long and perilous journey, but they were determined to succeed. For they were the Healers, and it was their duty to bring the gift of immortality to all those who sought it.
As the Healers explore the Jungle’s Heart, they are struck by its beauty. The trees tower over them, with trunks as thick as two people and leaves as big as blankets. One tree catches their attention with its vibrant red bark and leaves that shimmer in the sunlight. Its branches are adorned with red fruits that resemble apples, but the Healers quickly learn that they are poisonous.
Another tree they encounter has a trunk that is smooth and gray, with long, slender branches that bend and sway in the breeze. Its leaves are a pale green and shaped like teardrops, and they rustle softly when the Healers brush past them. The tree’s sap is sticky and smells like cinnamon.
A third tree is covered in thick, rough bark that resembles the skin of an elephant. Its branches twist and turn, and its leaves are a bright, emerald green. The tree is home to a family of monkeys, who chatter and swing from branch to branch as the Healers pass by.
As the Healers explore further, they encounter a variety of animals, including bright-colored birds with sharp beaks, graceful gazelles with velvety antlers, and enormous elephants with long, curved tusks. There are also smaller creatures, such as squirrels that scamper up trees and chipmunks that dart across the jungle floor.
At the center of the Jungle’s Heart is the Well of Life, which the Healers recognize immediately. It glows with a soft, pulsing light that radiates outwards, casting a warm glow over the surrounding jungle. The water inside is clear as glass, and the Healers can see down to the bottom, where stones in a rainbow of colors form intricate patterns.
The well is surrounded by a ring of brightly colored flowers, and the Healers are struck by their beauty. There are delicate white flowers with petals as thin as paper, bold red flowers with thick petals that resemble velvet, and tiny purple flowers that cluster together in bunches.
The Healers feel a sense of awe as they stand before the Well of Life, knowing that it holds the key to their immortality. They take a moment to reflect on their journey so far and the challenges that lie ahead, but they also feel a sense of hope and determination. They know that they are capable of overcoming any obstacle, as long as they work together and stay true to the ideals of the ARC Simulation.
As the evening comes, the nine Healers aside from White, Gold, and Silver begin to gather intel about their surroundings. Yellow is weaving a small shelter for herself and the others to sleep in, while Green is collecting various herbs and plants, and Orange is tending to the small garden she has started. Brown and Gray are working together to gather firewood and build a fire to keep everyone warm as the coolness of night begins to set in.
Meanwhile, White, Gold, and Silver are still staring into the Well of Life, completely entranced by its beauty and power. They are in a deep meditative state, feeling the energy of the Well pulsing through their bodies. As they continue to stare, the others begin to notice something strange about Gold. They realize that he has not spoken a single word since they entered Dreamland, and he never takes his eyes off of the Well of Life.
As night falls, the Healers finish gathering materials and come together to form a shelter just a few yards away from the Well of Life. They all take turns keeping watch throughout the night, ensuring that everyone stays safe. Brown and Gray keep the fire burning, providing warmth and comfort to the group as they settle in for their first night in the Jungle’s Heart.
Despite the unfamiliar surroundings and the unknown dangers that lie ahead, the Healers feel a sense of peace and contentment as they drift off to sleep, knowing that they are surrounded by the beauty and power of the Well of Life.
As the night deepens, most of the Healers have fallen asleep to the lullabies of the creatures of the night. Suddenly, Silver’s eyes open wide, and she lifts her head, trying to locate the source of the eerie sounds. She hears what sounds like howls and growls, rustling of leaves, and snapping of twigs, all mixed in a chaotic and almost omniscient tune.
Her movements and the rustling of her sleeping bag awaken several other Healers, who begin to stir, trying to locate the source of the noises. Yellow quickly surmises that the sounds could be just animals, but Gray and Silver know that it could be something more.
Silver remembers the briefing they had received before entering Dreamland, where they were told that the simulation might contain unexpected and potentially dangerous elements, and it was their job as Healers to overcome any obstacle. Gray agrees with Silver’s assessment, and they both stand up, grabbing their tools.
The other Healers try to calm them down, reminding them that it could be dangerous to venture out at night. But Gray and Silver decide to investigate, and a few others join them. They move carefully, making sure not to disturb the other Healers, and as they move deeper into the woods, the sounds grow louder and more menacing.
As Gray and Silver cautiously approached the source of the eerie sounds, they saw something that made their hearts race with fear. It was a creature unlike anything they had ever seen before. Its body was long and serpent-like, with drooping skin that hung from its bones like feathers that had been plucked out. Its arms and legs were webbed and connected by a thin membrane, and its piercing beak and jet black eyes gave it an otherworldly appearance.
As they watched in horror, the creature moved with a serpentine grace, its movements fluid and otherworldly. It seemed to sense their presence, but did not turn to face them. Instead, it continued its strange dance, swaying back and forth in the darkness.
Gray and Silver knew they had to leave, but they were frozen in place with fear. As the creature continued its eerie movements, they slowly began to back away, hoping to slip away unnoticed. Finally, they turned and ran back to camp, their hearts pounding in their chests.
The next morning, they recounted their encounter with the creature to the other Healers. They described its serpent-like body, its piercing beak, and it’s strange, misty aura. They called it the “Creature of the Night”, and everyone agreed that they should be on the lookout for it in the future.
Brown and Gray sat beside the fire, the warmth seeping into their bones as they sipped on a warm herbal tea. The cool morning breeze rustled through the trees, carrying the sounds of the jungle along with it. Brown turned to Gray, noticing the dark circles under his eyes and his quiet demeanor.
“Gray, is everything alright?” Brown asked, his voice filled with concern.
Gray let out a deep sigh, “I couldn’t sleep last night. My mind was racing with thoughts of that creature we saw. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It’s as if it came straight out of a nightmare.”
Brown nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. “I know what you mean. I couldn’t sleep either. It’s a good thing we’ve got each other to talk to about these things.”
Gray nodded in agreement, “Yes, it’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one who feels this way. It’s strange though, the creature didn’t seem to notice us, even though we were right there in front of it.”
Brown leaned in, “That’s because we weren’t afraid. We weren’t its prey. We were simply observers. It’s the fear that attracts these creatures. That’s why we need to be careful and stay vigilant.”
Gray took a deep breath and closed his eyes, “You’re right. I’m exhausted though. I didn’t get any sleep last night. I think I’m going to take a nap.”
Brown patted Gray on the back, “Go ahead and rest. I’ll keep watch for a while.”
Gray nodded and made his way over to a nearby tree, curling up in a ball and closing his eyes. Brown watched over him for a few moments before closing his eyes and entering a meditative state, focusing on the energy around him and the safety of their camp.
Chapter Six: Yellow, Green, and Orange:
Yellow, Green, and Orange, who are respectively a weaver and seamstress, an herbal specialist, and a gardening specialist, gather together to plan how they can utilize their skills to start creating a beautiful village for themselves and the other Healers. Yellow suggests they begin by weaving fabric for clothing and constructing tents for shelter, while Green proposes cultivating and harvesting medicinal herbs to aid in their health and well-being, and Orange suggests planting fruits and vegetables for food.
As they discuss their plans, they notice that Gold is still staring into the Well of Life, seemingly transfixed by its beauty and power. Despite their attempts to engage him in conversation, Gold remains unresponsive, lost in his own thoughts.
The three of them eventually decide to move on with their plans for the village, with Yellow beginning to weave fabric, Green gathering herbs, and Orange starting to clear the land for planting. As they work, they notice that the other Healers are starting to gather around and offer their assistance.
Yellow, Orange, and Green sat under a large tree by the Well of Life, discussing the herbs and plants they had found in the jungle. Yellow was a skilled botanist, and she had noticed several varieties of plants that could be used for both medicinal and practical purposes.
“Look at these flowers,” Yellow said, plucking a vibrant red bloom from the ground. “The petals can be used to dye fabrics, but they also have incredible healing properties.”
Orange nodded in agreement. “And what about these mushrooms?” he said, pointing to a cluster of fungi growing on a nearby tree. “They’re humming! It’s like they’re singing nursery rhymes from another planet.”
Green chimed in, “I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s like the jungle is alive with magic.”
The trio continued to discuss the plants and herbs they had found, and how they could use them to create medicine and healing salves. They made notes in their journals and carefully collected samples to bring back to camp.
As they worked, they couldn’t help but notice how quiet Gold was, still staring into the Well of Life without moving or speaking. They decided to leave him be, assuming he was lost in deep thought.
After a while, Yellow, Orange, and Green packed up their supplies and headed back to camp to share their findings with the other Healers. As they walked, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the incredible beauty and mystery of the jungle they found themselves in.
Meanwhile, Brown and Gray are building a fire to keep everyone warm, and Blue, Purple, and Red are working together to construct tools and equipment to aid in their tasks. The Healers are all starting to settle into their new surroundings and work together to create a new home in the heart of Dreamland.
As the day progressed, the Healers grew hungrier and hungrier, and many of them began to crave meat. Silver suggested catching one of the monkeys that were playing in the trees above them, but Brown and Gray cautioned against it, warning that it could start a war with the monkey family.
Just then, White entered the camp with a spear made from a beautiful staff of colorful grains and a snow-white sharpened stone at the tip of the staff, dripping with blood. White announced to the group that White had stabbed a boar and that they now had meat for their meal. Red, Purple, and Blue rushed to help White gather the pig, while Silver fanned the fire to make it hotter for cooking.
Meanwhile, Yellow, Green, and Orange, being vegans, began prepping the side dishes for their first feast in Dreamland. They gathered herbs from near the Well of Life, using their knowledge of medicinal properties to select the ones that would enhance the flavor of the meal. They also collected wild fruits and vegetables and roasted them on the fire. The aroma of the cooking food wafted through the camp, causing the Healers’ stomachs to growl even louder.
As the sun began to set, the Healers gathered around the fire and feasted on the boar and the delicious side dishes. They laughed and talked, feeling grateful for the bounty of the jungle and the companionship of their fellow Healers. After the meal, they cleaned up the camp and settled in for the night, feeling content and satisfied.
Yellow, Orange, and Green gathered around a table in their makeshift kitchen discussing the food they have harvested from the jungle. Yellow reminded the group that they must exercise caution with the fruits, vegetables, and herbs they have collected, as many of them are unfamiliar and may have unknown side effects. Orange agreed and added that they should monitor the effects of each ingredient and keep records for future reference. Green chimed in, saying that they should also consider the impact of the meat on their bodies, as they have never consumed such meat before.
As they continued to discuss their food supply, Red, Purple, and Blue entered the room, and the conversation shifted to their recent hunt. Yellow raised a concern about overconsumption of meat and suggested that they should also consider alternative protein sources in their diet. Red nodded in agreement and offered to go fishing in the nearby river to diversify their protein sources.
Orange then brought up the mushrooms they had found earlier and how they had noticed some unusual effects when they tried them. Green added that they should also be careful with the herbs they have collected, as some of them may have adverse effects when consumed in large quantities.
As the conversation came to a close, Yellow emphasized the importance of being cautious and mindful of their food choices in this unfamiliar land. The group nodded in agreement, understanding the gravity of the situation they were in. They would have to rely on each other’s knowledge and expertise to navigate this new world and stay healthy.
During dinner, the Healers start discussing the importance of having some sort of leadership and structure within their community in order to ensure their survival and well-being in Dreamland. They realize that without any sort of structure, their group may fall into chaos and disarray.
Some of the Healers suggest that they hold elections to choose a leader or a council to make decisions for the group. Others suggest that they rotate leadership roles among the Healers so that everyone has a chance to lead and contribute their skills.
As they continue to discuss, they come to the realization that they need a system that not only ensures the group’s survival but also respects each individual’s skills and contributions. They all agree that they need to work together and support each other to make it through their time in Dreamland.
It is during this conversation that the idea of the Guardian Triangle is first introduced, as the Healers recognize the need for a group of leaders who can work together to protect and guide the rest of the group.
Silver sat with Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green as they discussed the need for leadership and structure among the Healers. Silver expressed a desire to lead, but acknowledged that there were others who also possessed valuable skills and leadership qualities. Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green all agreed, and they began discussing which Healers they felt would be best suited for leadership positions.
Silver then brought up the idea of the Guardian Triangle, and how White and Gold had both demonstrated exceptional skills in gathering information, providing protection, and healing. Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green all nodded in agreement, recognizing the valuable contributions of White and Gold. They discussed the possibility of forming a group that would work together to provide protection and guidance for the rest of the Healers.
Silver explained that the Guardian Triangle would serve as a central leadership group that would be responsible for making decisions and providing guidance for the rest of the Healers. Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green all seemed to agree that this was a good idea, and they began discussing how to formalize the Guardian Triangle.
Silver suggested that they hold an election, and that the Healers should be allowed to vote for the members of the Guardian Triangle. Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green all agreed that this was a fair approach, and they began discussing the logistics of the election.
As they talked, Silver explained that the Guardian Triangle was important because they needed to have a group that could take charge and make decisions quickly if there was an emergency. Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green all nodded in agreement, recognizing the importance of having strong leadership in a dangerous environment like Dreamland.
Finally, Silver proposed that they should move forward with the election as soon as possible, so that they could formalize the Guardian Triangle and begin working together to protect and guide the rest of the Healers. The group agreed, and they began planning for the election.
As they talked, Brown seemed to be the only one having an issue with Silver taking charge. However, Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green reassured Brown that the goal was to work together and support each other, and that the Guardian Triangle was not about one person being in charge, but about a group of individuals working together to protect and guide the rest of the Healers.
As the Healers gather around the fire to discuss the formation of a leadership group, Silver, White, and Gold emerge as the top candidates. The others note that Silver has a keen eye for danger and a quick wit, White has demonstrated impressive strength and bravery in the hunt, and Gold seems to have an otherworldly connection to the Well of Life. They agree that these three together would make a formidable team, and so they are elected as the Guardian Triangle.
Silver explains that the name “Guardian Triangle” refers to their ability to watch each other’s backs, to protect the village from threats both seen and unseen. She mentions how they had already encountered the Creature of the Night and how it was important to have a team of protectors to keep the others safe.
Meanwhile, Yellow, Green, and Orange have been spending more time together and are becoming close friends. They discuss the potential dangers of the new and unfamiliar plants they have been discovering, and caution the others to be careful with over-consumption.
However, not everyone is happy with the Guardian Triangle. Brown seems to be the only one having an issue with Silver taking charge, and is hesitant to fully trust the trio. The others try to reassure Brown that they are all on the same team and working towards the same goal, but it remains to be seen if Brown will fully accept the leadership of the Guardian Triangle.
Chapter Seven: The Guardian Triangle:
As the Healers arrived at the Well of Life, Brown and Silver immediately began to bicker about where to set up camp. Brown was insistent that they should camp on the southern side of the well, facing south where the sun sets, while Silver argued that it would be better to set up on the northern side of the well, facing north.
“We need to be facing the direction of the sun!” Brown insisted. “It’s important for our survival. We’ll have more warmth and light if we’re facing south.”
“I understand your point, but I think we should be facing north,” Silver countered. “We’ll have a better view of the surrounding area and be able to spot potential dangers before they get too close.”
Brown huffed, clearly frustrated with Silver’s stubbornness. “I don’t think you’re thinking about the bigger picture here, Silver. We need to prioritize our survival, not our view.”
“I understand that, Brown, but we also need to consider our safety,” Silver replied calmly. “If we can see potential dangers coming, we’ll be better equipped to defend ourselves.”
The two continued to argue back and forth, their voices growing more heated with each passing moment. Finally, Yellow stepped in to mediate the situation and help the Healers come to a decision that would benefit everyone.
Despite the tension between them, Brown and Silver knew that they needed to work together for the good of the group. As the days passed, they gradually learned to put aside their differences and focus on the common goal of survival.
The morning of the third day in Dreamland was breathtakingly beautiful. The sun had just risen, casting a warm orange glow over the surrounding trees and the mist that hung low in the air. Rays of light shone through the mist, creating a colorful and ethereal atmosphere. The Well of Life glistened like a crystal in the morning light, its water reflecting the surrounding trees and the sky above.
The Healers had all slept peacefully, lulled by the sounds of the forest and the gentle breeze that rustled the leaves. However, their peaceful slumber was shattered when Green suddenly let out a loud cry, startling everyone. She exclaimed that Gray was missing and that they needed to find him. Brown immediately sprang into action, grabbing his spear and darting out of camp, determined to find their missing comrade.
Red, Purple, Blue, and White quickly formed a search team, with Red and Purple taking the lead, their tracking skills proving invaluable in the dense forest. They followed Gray’s footsteps, which led deeper into the forest. The morning mist made it difficult to see, but they pressed on, their senses heightened as they listened for any sounds that might lead them to Gray.
As they walked deeper into the forest, the colors of the morning mist seemed to intensify, creating an almost magical atmosphere. The greens of the leaves and the blues of the sky seemed to merge and dance in the mist. The Healers walked in silence, only the sound of their footsteps and the occasional chirping of birds breaking the silence.
Suddenly, they heard a faint voice in the distance. As they approached, they saw Gray sitting on the ground, his eyes closed and his body still. They called out to him, but he didn’t respond. As they got closer, they saw that he was surrounded by a circle of mushrooms, each one emitting a faint glow. The mushrooms seemed to be singing, their voices harmonizing with each other in a way that was both beautiful and eerie.
Red and White were the first to approach Gray, carefully stepping over the circle of mushrooms. As they touched his shoulder, Gray opened his eyes, and the mushrooms fell silent. He looked up at them, a look of wonder and amazement on his face. “I… I saw something,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Blue then saw them near the mushrooms and continued approaching.
Red and White and Blue all gathered around Gray, their eyes wide with curiosity. “What did you see?” asked Blue, voice filled with excitement.
“I saw… I saw a vision,” said Gray, his voice growing stronger. “A vision of a great danger that is coming to Dreamland. A danger that threatens us all.”
The Healers exchanged worried looks, their minds racing with the possibilities of what Gray had seen. But before they could say anything, the sound of rustling leaves caught their attention. They turned to see a group of monkeys standing at the edge of the clearing, watching them intently.
The Healers backed away, their hearts racing with fear. The monkeys began to move towards them, their eyes fixed on the circle of mushrooms. Just as the Healers thought they were about to be attacked, the monkeys suddenly stopped and turned away, disappearing into the forest.
The Healers looked at each other in confusion, wondering what had just happened. “We need to go back to camp,” said Silver, voice filled with urgency. “We need to prepare for whatever danger is coming.”
The Healers quickly gathered their things and began to make their way back to camp. The forest seemed darker and more foreboding than ever before, and the Healers walked in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. When they finally arrived back at camp, they found that the rest of the Healers had been waiting anxiously for them.
“Are you all right?” asked Yellow, her voice filled with concern.
“We’re fine,” said Silver, his voice steady. “But we need to talk. There’s something we need to tell you all.”
My fellow Healers, we have been blessed with this beautiful land of Dreamland, and it is our responsibility to protect it and each other. The disappearance of Gray is a reminder that we cannot take our safety for granted. We must remain vigilant and stay together as a team. We must work together to ensure that we all make it through this journey alive and well.
We cannot let fear take hold of us, as it will only hinder our progress. Instead, we must embrace the unknown and be prepared for whatever may come our way. We have all been chosen for a reason, and we must trust in ourselves and each other to fulfill our roles as Healers.
We must remember that our strength lies in our diversity. Each of us brings a unique skillset to the table, and we must utilize them to their fullest potential. We are a team, and we must support each other through both the good times and the bad.
Now, I propose that we split into groups of two or three and continue our search for Gray. We will not rest until we find him and bring him back to safety. Let us not lose hope, but instead let us use this moment as a reminder of the importance of our mission. Together, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.”
As Silver speaks, the morning mist begins to clear, revealing the stunning beauty of the land around them. The sun shines down, casting a warm glow over the lush greenery and sparkling waters of the Well of Life. The birds sing in the trees, their melodies a reminder of the abundance of life that surrounds them. The scene is both serene and awe-inspiring, a testament to the power and majesty of nature.
As Silver finishes speaking, the other Healers nod in agreement. They can feel the strength and determination in Silver’s words, and they are reminded of the importance of their mission. They split into groups and set off in search of Gray, the morning sun shining down on them as they navigate the twists and turns of Dreamland.
As soon as Silver had rallied everyone to search for Gray, the Healers Red, White, and Blue came charging into camp from the northwest, carrying Gray between them. Green was the first to run towards them, her heart pounding in her chest, relief flooding through her as she saw that Gray was alive and seemed to be conscious. The other Healers quickly followed, crowding around the group and asking what had happened.
Red explained that they had found Gray lying on the ground, unconscious and barely breathing. It seemed that Gray had tripped and fallen from a rocky outcropping, hitting their head on a jagged rock on the way down. Red, White, and Blue had found Gray just in time, and had carried Gray back to camp as quickly as they could.
Silver quickly sprang into action, ordering the other Healers to clear the shelter and make room for Gray to rest. Yellow, Orange, and Purple quickly gathered blankets and pillows, making a comfortable place for Gray to lie down. Green quickly set to work, gathering herbs and other plants that she thought might help Gray recover.
As Gray began to stir, moaning softly and opening their eyes, the other Healers gathered around, offering words of encouragement and support. Silver spoke quietly to Gray, assuring them that they were safe and among friends. White offered a small smile, nodding in approval as Gray’s condition seemed to improve.
The rest of the day was spent caring for Gray, with each of the Healers taking turns keeping watch over them. Silver and White took charge, organizing the others and making sure that everyone had enough food and water. Blue and Red gathered wood and built up the fire, making sure that Gray was warm and comfortable.
As the day wore on, Gray gradually began to improve, slowly regaining their strength and awareness. The other Healers continued to tend to Gray’s needs, offering words of encouragement and support as they worked together to help their fellow healer recover from their injuries. By the time the sun began to set, Gray was feeling much better, and the other Healers breathed a collective sigh of relief.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the sky lit up with an array of colors. It seemed as if the night had arrived sooner than the previous nights, and everyone around the fire began talking about how Gold had not left the Well of Life or communicated with anyone.
Silver listened to their concerns and then called in White to join them near the Well. As White arrived, Silver explained the situation, and the group made their way over to the Well of Life. They saw Gold sitting quietly beside the well, gazing into the dark water.
Silver approached Gold and gently touched their shoulder. Gold slowly turned to face the group, their eyes reflecting the shimmering light from the fire. Silver gestured for Gold to write down their thoughts.
Gold wrote, “I’ve been thinking. This Well of Life is important. It’s a source of healing and sustenance for us. But what if it’s also a source of power?”
The Healers exchanged glances, unsure of what was happening until White spoke up, “This sounds promising.”
Silver turned to White and explained, “What if this Well of Life holds the key to unlocking a greater understanding of Dreamland? What if it holds the secrets to our survival?”
The Guardian Triangle was intrigued by Silver’s words, and Gold nodded thoughtfully.
“I see what you mean, Silver. But we must remember that we are a team. We must work together to unlock the mysteries of Dreamland,” said White.
As the Healers made their way back to camp, Silver announced that they would begin constructing a larger shelter over the Well of Life to protect it from the elements. They all worked together to build the new shelter, using the skills and knowledge they had acquired in Dreamland.
As the night progressed, the Healers sat around the fire, discussing the possibilities of the Well of Life and what it could mean for their survival in Dreamland. They felt a sense of unity and purpose, knowing that they were working together towards a common goal.
Yellow, Green, and Orange prepared a hearty vegan stew for everyone to share, and they all sat down to enjoy the meal together. It was a peaceful and reflective evening, and as they all settled down for the night, the Healers felt a sense of hope for what was to come.
As Brown drifted off to sleep, their mind began to wander, and they found themselves in the heart of Dreamland. The Guardian Triangle stood tall in front of them, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and creatures of the night appeared from every direction. They had menacing claws, sharp teeth, and glowing eyes that seemed to pierce through the darkness.
The creatures circled around Brown, and they could feel their breath on their neck. There were werewolves with matted fur and bloodshot eyes, giant bats with razor-sharp talons, and snakes with venomous fangs. There were even creatures that Brown had never seen before, with twisted, misshapen bodies and eerie, glowing eyes.
As the creatures closed in, Brown felt their heart race, and fear began to take hold. But just as the creatures were about to attack, the Guardian Triangle stepped forward and held up their hand. A bright light emanated from the Guardian Triangle, and the creatures recoiled, their eyes wide with fear.
But suddenly, the creatures began to dive into the Well of Life, and the water turned black. The Guardian Triangle cried out in horror, and then, in an instant, the entire Heart of the Jungle caught fire. Flames licked at Brown’s feet, and they could feel the heat on their skin.
Brown tried to run, but the creatures of the night blocked their path, closing in from every direction. They could hear the sizzling sound of the fire and the howls of the creatures. Brown was trapped, with nowhere to go.
Just as Brown thought it was the end, they awoke, drenched in sweat. They could feel their heart pounding in their chest and their breath coming in short gasps. Brown lay there for a moment, trying to calm themselves down and shake off the feeling of dread that still lingered.
As they looked around the shelter, Brown could see the other Healers sleeping soundly. The fire had died down to a gentle glow, casting flickering shadows on the walls of the shelter. Brown closed their eyes and took a deep breath, hoping to steady themselves and find some peace in the midst of the darkness.
As Brown woke up from his nightmare, he noticed that the rest of the Healers were still asleep, but he could hear faint whispers coming from outside the shelter. Curiosity getting the best of him, Brown quietly made his way outside to see what was going on.
There he found Green, who was keeping watch by the fire in the makeshift shelter that had been built for Gray. Brown approached Green, who welcomed him with a warm smile.
“Can’t sleep?” Green asked softly.
Brown shook his head, “No, just a bad dream,” he replied.
Green nodded in understanding and motioned for Brown to join them by the fire. As Brown sat down, he noticed that Gray was also awake, staring blankly at the flames.
The three of them sat in silence for a while, watching the flickering flames dance in the darkness. It was peaceful, and the warmth from the fire provided a sense of comfort.
Brown eventually broke the silence, telling Green and Gray about his nightmare. They listened intently, their eyes widening with each new detail.
“That sounds terrifying,” Green said sympathetically.
Gray nodded in agreement, “I can’t imagine what it must have been like,” they said softly.
Brown shuddered at the memory, but he was glad to have shared it with his fellow Healers. As they continued to talk, they felt a sense of closeness and camaraderie that they had not experienced before.
As the night wore on, they all fell into a comfortable silence, lost in their own thoughts. The fire crackled and popped, casting a warm glow over their faces.
Brown felt a sense of peace wash over him, knowing that he was not alone in his fears. He was grateful for the company of Green and Gray, and he knew that they would get through whatever challenges lay ahead as a team.
Chapter Eight: Black and Yellow:
As the days passed in the Heart of the Jungle, the Healers continued to work together, sharing their gifts and talents to survive in the challenging terrain of Dreamland. Among the Healers, Black and Yellow had grown particularly close, finding solace in each other’s company amidst the unpredictable nature of their environment.
While the Guardian Triangle, led by Silver, worked tirelessly to delegate tasks and manage the group’s resources, it was becoming apparent that Yellow’s duties were slipping. Silver had noticed that Yellow seemed distracted, often found lingering near Black’s station as he processed the clay in the ground and tended to the fire.
It was a delicate situation, one that required Silver’s keen understanding of human nature and leadership to address. So, pulling Yellow aside, Silver spoke softly but firmly, “My dear Yellow, I have noticed that your mind has been wondering lately. Your duties have not been performed as diligently as they once were.”
Yellow looked down, feeling ashamed, but Silver continued in a compassionate tone, “I know that you have grown fond of Black, and that is perfectly natural. However, we must not forget our responsibilities. We have been entrusted with the survival of our people in this strange and unpredictable land.”
Silver paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing, “Black is a valuable member of our team, but so are you. We need your skills and your commitment to the group if we are to succeed in our mission.”
Yellow nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. “I understand, Silver,” Yellow replied, “I will make sure to focus on my duties and not let my personal feelings distract me.”
Silver smiled, patting Yellow’s shoulder reassuringly. “Good,” he said. “I have faith in you, my dear Yellow. You are a valuable member of our team, and we need you at your best.”
With those words, Yellow left to resume her duties, feeling more determined than ever to contribute to the group’s survival. And as she walked away, Silver watched her go, knowing that his wise words had been heard and that the Healers would continue to work together as a team, relying on each other’s unique gifts to navigate the challenges of Dreamland.
Black was working tirelessly, using his skills as a blacksmith to create various tools, weapons, and utensils for the Healers. He was also mining for minerals to refine into metals, using his brawny strength to break through tough rock and soil. Meanwhile, Yellow was busy spinning fibers and weaving them into intricate designs to make clothes for everyone. She was using her nimble fingers to pull fibers from various plants and bushes, each with unique qualities that could be utilized for different types of clothing.
Silver was keeping a close eye on the Healers, observing their behavior and tendencies. She noticed how Green and Gray had become inseparable, with Green refusing to leave Gray’s side for extended periods of time. Silver wondered if this bond would hinder their ability to work effectively in the group, but she kept her concerns to herself for now.
As for Brown, he seemed to be acting as a third wheel to Green and Gray’s blossoming relationship. He would often hover around them, trying to insert himself into their conversations and activities. While the other Healers didn’t seem to mind his presence, Silver wondered if Brown’s eagerness to be included would eventually lead to tension in the group.
Several days have passed since Black and Yellow left on their journey, and they have not yet returned to the camp. Silver, worried about their absence, approaches Brown, who has taken on Black’s responsibilities while he’s away, and expresses her concerns about the impact of Black’s absence on the camp’s productivity. Brown explains that Black needed a break and that Yellow went with him for support. However, Silver argues that they shouldn’t have left the camp unguarded, especially without consulting the rest of the group.
Silver’s criticism of Brown and Black’s decision to leave infuriates Gray, who takes Brown’s side and defends his actions. Gray reminds Silver that everyone needs a break, and Black and Yellow are no different. Gray also points out that Brown has been doing an excellent job of taking over Black’s responsibilities, and Silver should appreciate the hard work he’s been doing.
Despite Gray’s defense, Silver remains unconvinced and warns Brown that he needs to keep up with his responsibilities while filling in for Black and Yellow. She adds that White will also need to help out to ensure the camp’s stability.
As Black and Yellow continue on their journey, they set up camp a few days journey from the Heart of the Jungle. They sit by the fire and enjoy the peacefulness of the night, with nothing but the stars and the sounds of nature filling the air. As they gaze out at the towering mountain in the distance, Black turns to Yellow and suggests that they build a castle into the side of the mountain. Yellow chuckles and tells Black that it sounds like something out of a fairytale, but the idea starts to grow on her as they continue to talk.
The two spend several days exploring the area, gathering materials, and discussing plans for the castle. They find a nearby river and decide to take a swim, enjoying the cool, refreshing water. Black can’t help but marvel at the beauty of the landscape around them, and Yellow feels grateful to be spending this time with him.
Meanwhile, back at the campsite, Green and Gray are in the tent together, wrapped up in each other’s arms. The rest of the Healers are asleep, but Green and Gray are wide awake, consumed by their passion for each other. They kiss and touch, and as the fire outside the tent dies down, they become lost in each other, their bodies moving together in a rhythm all their own.
As the night wears on, Green and Gray continue to explore each other’s bodies, lost in the ecstasy of the moment. They are completely wrapped up in each other, and it seems like nothing else in the world exists except for them. Eventually, they fall asleep in each other’s arms, the warmth of their love protecting them from the cool night air.
After being away for several weeks, Black and Yellow finally make their way back to camp, with the other Healers feeling a sense of relief upon their arrival. Although they were happy to see them, they were also upset and frustrated because of how much they had worried about their safety and survival being left up to those they left behind. Despite their apologies, Black and Yellow did not regret their decision to take a break and get away for a while.
Upon returning to camp, Black immediately went back to tending the fire and performing his duties, while Yellow was surprised to see Green with what looked like an afro of green hair. Confused, everyone questioned Green about her hair, but she just smiled and said that it was a surprise for everyone. It was then that Green revealed that she had found a special plant that she used to dye her hair, and that she had been keeping it a secret for weeks, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal it.
Although the other Healers were slightly amused by the revelation, they were more focused on making sure that everything was back in order with Black and Yellow back in camp. Despite the initial upset, everyone was glad to have them back and the group continued to work together to survive in Dreamland.
As the season changed and the first rains fell, the Healers felt a sense of unease wash over them. The jungle that had been their home for so long began to take on a new, foreboding atmosphere. The once-familiar plants and animals now seemed strange and unpredictable, and the Healers felt as though they were entering uncharted territory.
With Green’s belly rapidly growing, the Guardian Triangle knew that they had to prepare for the arrival of a new Healer. But with the strange new weather and the ominous feeling in the air, their preparations took on a sense of urgency. They knew that they had to protect not only the new life that was coming, but also their own existence in this unfamiliar and potentially dangerous world.
As the days grew colder and the rains became more frequent, the Healers began to notice a strange absence. The animals that had once been so abundant in the jungle were nowhere to be seen. The silence was unnerving, and the Healers felt as though they were being watched from the shadows.
On the third cold night, the Healers were jolted from their uneasy sleep by a bloodcurdling scream. They all rushed outside to find Green, writhing in pain and surrounded by a pack of wild dogs. The Healers quickly sprang into action, using their unique skills to fend off the vicious animals and protect Green and her unborn child. The campsite had been ravaged and luckily everyone seemed okay.
But the attack had shaken them to their core, and they realized that they were no longer safe in the Heart of the Jungle. They knew that they had to find a way to survive in this new and unpredictable world, and they would have to do it together. As they huddled around the fire, battered and bruised but alive, they knew that they would face whatever lay ahead with courage and determination.
As the chaos settled down, the Healers began to realize that Gray was missing. Green became frantic, searching for Gray and crying out his name. Brown and Silver quickly moved to care for her, while the other Healers formed a plan to search for their missing comrade.
The group was split into three parties: Black and White, Yellow and Orange, and Purple and Blue. Black and White were to search the eastern part of the Heart of the Jungle, Yellow and Orange the western part, and Purple and Blue the southern part. They were all instructed to stay within earshot of one another, in case someone found something.
Black and White searched the eastern part of the jungle, finding nothing but a few small animals and plants. Yellow and Orange searched the western part, finding nothing but the same. Purple and Blue searched the southern part, where they found footprints leading deeper into the jungle.
Following the footprints, they eventually came across a group of Creatures of the Night, who had taken Gray as their prisoner. Purple and Blue fought valiantly, but they were outnumbered and outmatched. Just as things were looking grim, Black and White arrived on the scene, and together they were able to overpower the Creatures of the Night and rescue Gray.
With Gray safely back in the camp, the Healers breathed a sigh of relief. They were grateful to have found their comrade, but they also knew that they needed to be more careful in the future. The Heart of the Jungle was a dangerous place, and they couldn’t afford to let their guard down.
As the days went on, the beauty between Black and Yellow continued to grow. They were always seen together, working tirelessly to improve the lives of their fellow Healers. They spent long hours exploring the jungle and discussing the future they could build together. Their love was obvious to everyone in the camp, and they were often the subject of gossip among the other Healers. But Black and Yellow didn’t care, they were happy in each other’s company, and that’s all that mattered.
Meanwhile, Green had become increasingly worried about Gray’s mental state. He seemed to be more and more distracted each day, constantly on edge and paranoid that something terrible was going to happen to the group. Green tried to talk to him, to reassure him that everything was going to be okay, but he wouldn’t listen. And then, three days after Gray was rescued, he vanished again. There were no signs of a struggle, no evidence that he had been taken. He was just gone.
Despite the ongoing uncertainty and danger, life at the camp continued. Green gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, whom they named New Gray. Black and Yellow continued to work together, building a strong barrier around the campground to keep everyone safe. Brown and White took on the responsibility of scouting the perimeter of the Heart’s Jungle, hoping to find signs of Gray being alive.
In the end, the Healers were never again taken by surprise. They learned to work together and to protect themselves from the dangers of the jungle. And although Gray’s disappearance weighed heavily on their hearts, they were able to find hope in the new life that had come into their world. They knew that, no matter what happened, they would always have each other.
Chapter Nine: The Nations of the Earth:
As the tension on Earth continued to escalate, the nations became increasingly anxious for updates on the ARC Simulation and the events taking place inside Dreamland. They were particularly interested in any developments related to the Healers and the potential benefits they could bring back to the real world.
Milo received constant requests from leaders and representatives of various nations for updates every five minutes. They wanted to know about the Healers’ progress, any new technologies or discoveries, and any potential threats that could affect the safety of the ARC Simulation or Earth.
Milo did his best to keep up with the requests, but it was a challenging task to manage the intense workload of running the ARC Simulation while also providing frequent updates to the leaders of Earth. He worked long hours, often sacrificing sleep and rest to ensure that he could give accurate and up-to-date information to those who requested it.
Despite the pressure, Milo understood the importance of communication and transparency in times of crisis, and he remained committed to keeping the nations of Earth informed about the progress being made in Dreamland.
Milo took a deep breath and began his update on the progress of the Simulation. He spoke in a calm and measured tone, describing the growth and evolution of the Healer community within Dreamland. He talked about the challenges they faced and how they were overcoming them through their ingenuity and hard work. However, Milo’s update was interrupted by one of the leaders, who demanded to know if there was any cheating or foul play involved.
Milo paused for a moment, knowing that this was a sensitive topic. He had been made aware of a Healer who had tried to cut corners, but he did not want to reveal the identity of the nation responsible. The leaders of the world were outraged, and many of them threatened to withdraw from the project altogether. It seemed like the tensions between nations were about to boil over into a full-blown World War.
Milo remained calm, and he reiterated that he could not reveal the identity of the cheating nation. He reminded the leaders that the purpose of the Simulation was not to create winners and losers as individuals but to study human behavior in a controlled environment. Milo emphasized that the actions of one nation would not impact the final results of the experiment.
Furthermore, Milo reminded the leaders of his long history of leading simulations. He had been alive for hundreds of thousands of human generations and had directed countless experiments. He knew what he was doing, and he was confident that he could handle any situation that arose within the Simulation.
Milo’s words had a calming effect on the leaders, and they eventually backed down from their demands. They agreed to continue supporting the Simulation, and Milo promised to do everything in his power to ensure that the experiment proceeded as planned.
However, Milo knew that the cheating Healer had only made the experiment harder on themselves. The challenges within Dreamland were already significant, and trying to cheat would only make things worse. Milo hoped that the Healer responsible would learn from their mistake and work hard to overcome the challenges they faced.
As he finished his update, Milo reminded the leaders of the importance of the Simulation. He explained that this project had the potential to change the course of human history and that the lessons learned within Dreamland could have a profound impact on the world outside. Milo urged the leaders to continue supporting the project and to have faith in the Healer community within Dreamland.
Milo had traveled through space and time for millions of years, observing countless civilizations rise and fall. But it was during his journey to earth during the time of the dinosaurs that he first felt a spark of hope. The planet was teeming with life, and he saw the potential for a powerful civilization to emerge.
As he watched from his ship, he saw the great beasts roam the earth, and the lush forests and sprawling oceans. He studied the planet’s atmosphere and resources, and saw that it had everything needed to support a thriving civilization. He knew he had to return and watch as the world evolved.
Milo left earth to perform a test for another civilization, but he never forgot about the planet and the potential he had seen there. He continued to monitor the planet over the millions of years, watching as the dinosaurs went extinct and new life emerged.
It was not until he came back millions of years later that he was truly amazed. The world was now conquered by an intelligent civilization, and he was excited to see what they could achieve. He studied their societies, their cultures, and their technologies, and saw that they had come so far since the days of the dinosaurs.
Milo was especially intrigued by a man named Noah, who had survived a cataclysmic flood that had wiped out much of the world’s life. He studied Noah and his family, and saw that they were determined to rebuild their world and make it better than before.
It was then that Milo began planning to bring the ARC from another galaxy to the earth’s moon. It would be the ultimate test for the humans of earth, to see if they were truly worthy of obtaining immortality. He spent thousands of years preparing for the construction of the ARC, carefully selecting the technology and resources needed to create a self-sustaining environment.
And finally, after all those years, the ARC was fully constructed and ready for the humans of earth to take the test. Milo watched from afar, observing as the humans stepped onto the ship and began their journey to the moon. He hoped that they would prove themselves worthy, and that they would be able to create a new, powerful civilization that could rival even his own.
Milo stood before the leaders of the nations of Earth, ready to give his speech. “My fellow humans,” he began. “I come before you today to speak about a topic that has been on my mind for quite some time: money.”
Milo paused for a moment, allowing his words to sink in. “Money, as you know it, is a construct of your society. It is a tool used to control and manipulate the masses. It is the root of all evil, as they say.”
The leaders of Earth shifted uneasily in their seats, sensing the tension in the air. Milo continued. “Money is born out of the fear of famine. You hoard resources, stockpile them for the ‘bad times,’ and then sell them at exorbitant prices to those who need them. It’s a vicious cycle that feeds on the greed of humanity.”
Milo paced back and forth, his eyes darting around the room. “But let me tell you something. In the universe, resources are infinite. There is no need for money, for currency, for the concept of ownership. We share resources freely and equally, for the betterment of all. And it works. We have achieved a level of peace and prosperity that your society can only dream of.”
The leaders of Earth looked at each other, skeptical. Milo could see the doubt in their eyes. “I understand that this may seem like a foreign concept to you,” he continued. “But trust me when I say that it is the way of the universe. And if humanity is to be accepted into the Intergalactic Federation, it is a concept that you must embrace.”
Milo paused once more, taking a deep breath. “I do not say these things to lecture you, but to help you. To guide you. It is my hope that you will see the error of your ways and work towards a more equitable society. One that is not built on the foundation of greed and fear, but on the principles of sharing and cooperation.”
The leaders of Earth sat in silence for a moment, absorbing Milo’s words. Finally, one spoke up. “But how do we get there? How do we change our entire society?”
Milo smiled. “Change is never easy, but it is necessary. It starts with each and every one of you. It starts with a shift in mindset, a willingness to see the world in a different way. It starts with small actions, small changes, that over time will accumulate into something greater. And it starts with a willingness to let go of the old ways and embrace the new.”
The room fell silent once more, as the leaders of Earth contemplated Milo’s words. It was a lot to take in, but Milo knew that they were capable of it. He had seen the potential in humanity, and he knew that they could achieve great things if they put their minds to it.
In the end, it would be up to them. But Milo had hope. And with hope, anything was possible.
Milo addresses the leaders of the nations of earth, reminding them that only one of the twelve Healers needs to successfully complete the test for humanity to be considered worthy of immortality. He explains that the number twelve was chosen because it has historical significance in both western and eastern cultures. Twelve is found in the twelve tribes of Israel, the twelve apostles, the twelve zodiac signs, the twelve Olympian gods, and many other examples throughout human history. Additionally, globally, twelve makes sense because it raises the odds for completion.
Milo then shares that other civilizations across the cosmos have had different approaches to the test and have achieved varying results. Some civilizations have been successful in completing the test, while others have failed. However, Milo feels confident that humanity stands a great chance because of how diverse and adaptable humans have become over the millennia. He notes that humans have evolved to live in nearly every environment on Earth and have developed unique cultures and belief systems that have helped them overcome many challenges.
Milo explains that the test is not simply about physical or intellectual ability but also about spiritual and emotional growth. He tells the leaders that they must encourage their people to focus on personal growth and development rather than simply accumulating wealth or power. He acknowledges that humans have a tendency to focus on material possessions and financial gain, but these things will not help them pass the test.
Milo reminds the leaders that if humanity is accepted into the Intergalactic Federation, there will be no need for money or currency. Resources within the Universe supersede infinity, and all members of the Federation have access to them equally. He explains that the concept of money and greed stems from an underlying philosophy that famine will occur and therefore humans need to stockpile for the bad times. However, in the Federation, resources are shared equitably, and all members have access to what they need.
Furthermore, Milo emphasizes that the test is not a competition between nations or even between the Healers. Each Healer must work together with the others to complete the test, and all nations of Earth must work together to support them. He stresses that the success of one Healer will be a success for all of humanity and that failure of one Healer will be a failure for all.
Milo shares that the Intergalactic Federation has been watching humanity for a long time and has seen the potential for greatness in them. However, the Federation also sees the flaws and challenges that humanity faces. He tells the leaders that the Federation believes in humanity’s ability to overcome these challenges and to become a great civilization worthy of immortality.
Milo encourages the leaders to support the Healers and to remind their people that they are part of a larger community that includes all life in the Universe. He explains that the Federation values all forms of life and seeks to promote harmony and cooperation between all members.
He tells the leaders that if humanity is accepted into the Federation, they will have the opportunity to explore the Universe and to learn from the experiences of other civilizations.
In closing, Milo reminds the leaders that the test is not just about proving themselves to the Intergalactic Federation but about proving themselves to themselves. He tells them that the test is an opportunity for humanity to grow and to become better than they are today. He encourages them to embrace the challenge and to work together to achieve success.
Chapter Ten: Silver’s Secret:
As the Healers continued their mission to find Gray, they discovered that the boundaries surrounding the heart of the jungle seemed to stretch on endlessly in every direction from the Well of Life. It was a daunting task to undertake, but they persevered, taking turns to explore and map the areas they discovered.
Over the years, New Gray began to grow in stature, and it became clear that this was a place of immense potential, with many resources waiting to be tapped. The Healers began to notice that New Gray had similar features to Green, the ancient civilization that had once thrived in the area, and it seemed that the two were somehow linked.
Despite the challenges they faced, the Healers were determined to succeed, and they pressed on, carefully mapping each territory they discovered. As they did so, they began to give names to the different regions they came across, reflecting the ancient cultures and ancient civilizations that had emerged there. The Guardian Triangle began pondering whether or not these ancient ruins were built by Creatures of the Night, or if they were once filled with other Healer like beings who were eventually eradicated and exterminated by the Creatures of the Night.
Silver took it upon herself to name the areas based off of the biomes and what she knew as Yekaterina in the real world. The Healers collectively did not seem biased on her naming them, and even Brown did not have issue with Silver nominating herself as the one to title the lands that others discovered. In the north, they discovered a region that reminded Silver of the democratic ideals of early America, and she named it La Republica. Moving northeast, they encountered a place that brought to mind the colonial history of the British, and she called it Yorktown. Further to the east was a region that evoked the ancient city of Jerusalem, and so it was named as such.
As they moved towards the southeast, the Healers encountered a region that reminded them of the cultural melting pot of Central and South America, and they called it the CALA Belt. To the south was a place that brought to mind the rugged individualism of Australia, and so they named it Aussieville. In the southwest, they encountered a place that reminded them of the ancient Chinese dynasties, and they called it Shang-Yo. The Healers chuckled and awed at the creativity of the naming of the territories, but White knew where the ideas came from and just quietly chuckled as well.
Moving towards the west, the Healers discovered a region that reminded them of the frontier spirit of America, and they named it Doolth. Doolth had towering mountains that were so aggressive and large they could be seen almost anywhere across Dreamland as long as there was enough height and clarity in the atmosphere. Finally, in the northwest, they came across a region that evoked the lost city of Atlantis, and so it was named Atlantis.
Despite the challenges they faced, the Healers continued to explore and map each new territory they discovered, adding to their knowledge of this strange and fascinating world. And as they did so, they began to realize that their mission was about much more than just finding Gray – it was about unlocking the secrets of this ancient and mysterious place, and discovering the true potential of Dreamland.
Silver felt the weight of her responsibilities as she led the Healers through the strange and beautiful landscapes of Dreamland. She had been tasked with keeping her team focused on their mission while also maintaining her own secret identity outside of the simulation. It was a delicate balance, but one she had practiced for years.
As they journeyed through the shifting sands of the desert within the territory of Jerusalem, Silver couldn’t help but wonder if her fellow Healers were also keeping secrets. She suspected that James, the quiet and introspective White, knew more about his true identity than he let on. And Wang-Jing, the enigmatic and mysterious Gold, had thrown up the pill containing her memories before entering the simulation. It was all very suspicious.
Despite her suspicions, Silver remained focused on the task at hand. She and her team were searching for a rare plant that could heal even the most deadly of wounds. It was a daunting task, but Silver had faith in her team and their abilities. As they traveled, she guided them through the strange and sometimes dangerous terrain, always watching for any signs of danger.
Outside of the simulation, Silver was living a double life. She was Yekaterina, a scientist and researcher who had taken the pill to enter the simulation and aid in the testing of humanity. She knew that her secret was dangerous, but she also knew that it was necessary. If anyone found out who she really was, it could compromise the entire mission.
As the days passed, Silver grew more and more confident in her abilities as a leader. Her team worked together seamlessly, and they were making progress towards their goal. But even as she led them through the winding pathways of Dreamland, Silver couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
Eventually, her suspicions were confirmed when she confronted James about his true identity. He confessed that he, too, was living a double life outside of the simulation. They talked for hours about their pasts and their reasons for taking the pill, and Silver felt a sense of relief at finally having someone to share her burden with.
Despite the danger of their situation, Silver was beginning to feel hopeful about the future. She knew that they were on the cusp of a great discovery, and that their work inside the simulation would have a profound impact on humanity’s future. And with James by her side, she felt more confident than ever in their ability to succeed.
But as they continued their search for the healing plant, Silver couldn’t help but wonder what other secrets her team was hiding. And with the looming threat of failure always hanging over their heads, she knew that there was no room for error. They had to stay focused, stay vigilant, and always be ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
As the Healers continued their exploration and mapping of the territories surrounding the heart of Dreamland, they came to realize that the area that remained unexplored was vast and mysterious, and they dubbed it the ‘Great Beyond’. This term referred to all that lay beyond the boundaries of the territories they had mapped, and it became a source of intrigue and curiosity for the Guardian Triangle.
To document their findings and to create a guide for future explorers, the Healers began to create books made from the leather of Swamp creatures and the fibrous pulp of jungle wood. These books contained detailed maps of the territories they had explored, along with descriptions of the flora and fauna they had encountered, theories about the Great Beyond, and clues to Gray’s whereabouts.
In addition to these practical elements, the books also served as a kind of rulebook for the Healers’ community around the Well of Life. They contained information about the processes that allowed them to create a more luxurious experience, such as the construction of homes and the cultivation of food and medicine. The books also served as a way to preserve the history and culture of their community, including their traditions and beliefs.
The Healers’ books were not only a practical tool for exploration and survival but also a way for the community to come together and share their knowledge and experiences. As they worked together to document and understand the world around them, they strengthened their bonds and their sense of belonging to a larger community.
Through their exploration and mapping, the Healers discovered that the world outside the heart of Dreamland was filled with wonders and mysteries, and they became more determined than ever to uncover the secrets of the Great Beyond. With their books and their community behind them, they set out to explore and discover all that lay beyond the boundaries of their known world.
As the cycles passed, Silver and New Gray’s relationship grew closer and closer. Silver would often take New Gray under her wing, showing him the secrets of the Well of Life and how to lead the Healers with wisdom and compassion. Brown, who had also grown close to Green, began to feel uneasy about the bond forming between Silver and New Gray. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but something about it just didn’t sit right with him.
Despite his misgivings, Brown kept his thoughts to himself. After all, Green seemed to bless the relationship between Silver and New Gray, and he didn’t want to cause any unnecessary tension between the Healers. So, he continued to work alongside Silver and the rest of the Guardian Triangle, doing his part to help keep Dreamland safe and prosperous.
The Healers had become experts at navigating the dangers of the jungle, learning the patterns and migrations of various creatures and staying one step ahead of any potential threats. They had also built a comfortable and relatively peaceful community around the Well of Life, with surplus resources accumulated over the cycles.
The Heart of the Jungle was the central point of the Dreamland, and as such, it was the most vulnerable to attacks from outside forces. To protect it, the Healers, led by the Guardian Triangle, devised a strategy of defense that involved the defenders White, Purple, Red, Black, and Brown.
The strategy was based on a combination of stealth, traps, and brute force. The Healers knew that they couldn’t rely on any one method of defense, as the creatures of Dreamland were too unpredictable and too dangerous. So they developed a multi-layered approach that would keep the Heart of the Jungle safe from any attack.
The first line of defense was the stealthy approach. The Healers knew that some creatures were sensitive to sound and movement, so they made sure to move quietly and avoid detection. They used natural cover like trees, rocks, and brush to conceal themselves, and they communicated using hand signals and gestures instead of speaking aloud. This made it difficult for any would-be attackers to locate them.
The second line of defense was traps. The Healers knew that some creatures were more easily fooled than others, so they set up traps and decoys to lure them into a false sense of security. They used bait like food, water, and even other creatures to entice them, and they set up snares, pits, and tripwires to catch them. This not only slowed down any attackers but also gave the Healers time to prepare for a more direct attack.
The third and final line of defense was brute force. The Healers knew that sometimes, no matter how hard they tried, they would have to face their enemies head-on. So they trained in hand-to-hand combat and weapons use, and they equipped themselves with a variety of weapons like spears, bows and arrows, and knives. They worked in teams, using their different skills and abilities to complement each other, and they were always ready to defend the Heart of the Jungle with their lives.
The defenders White, Purple, Red, Black, and Brown were the ones responsible for implementing this strategy. They worked closely with the Healers, using their skills and expertise to keep the Heart of the Jungle safe from harm. White, as the leader of the defenders, made sure that everyone knew their roles and responsibilities, and that they were well-trained and well-equipped for any situation that might arise. Purple was responsible for reconnaissance and scouting, using his keen senses and knowledge of the terrain to gather information on potential threats. Red was the strategist, analyzing data and coming up with plans for defense and offense. Black was the muscle, using his strength and size to intimidate and overpower any attackers. Brown was the wildcard, using his creativity and ingenuity to come up with unexpected solutions to problems.
Together, the Healers and defenders worked tirelessly to protect the Heart of the Jungle from any threat. They knew that they were the only thing standing between Dreamland and chaos, and they took their responsibilities seriously. And while they couldn’t prevent every attack, they knew that they had done everything in their power to keep their home safe.
But even as things seemed to be going well, Brown couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. He watched as Silver and New Gray spent more and more time together, and wondered if Silver’s intentions were truly pure. Was she using New Gray for her own gain? Or was he just being paranoid?
Despite his doubts, Brown kept his thoughts to himself, not wanting to upset the delicate balance of the community they had built. He continued to work hard alongside the other Healers, doing his best to keep Dreamland safe and secure.
Brown couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He had been sitting by the Well of Life, minding his own business when he overheard Silver, White, and Gold discussing a plan that sounded like a form of blood sacrifice. His heart sank as he realized that they were planning to use New Gray to track down Gray or maybe even the body of Gray. Brown knew that New Gray was a blend of Green and Gray, and he couldn’t bear the thought of something happening to him.
As he listened to their conversation, he began to understand that Silver and White believed that Gray was one of the original twelve contestants within the Simulation, and that nothing mattered more than protecting the original twelve. They seemed to believe that the ability to procreate within Dreamland was a way to create soldiers who would ultimately protect them at all costs for the greater good of humanity outside of the Simulation. Brown felt sick to his stomach as he realized that the Guardian Triangle might be evil, or at the very least insane.
Brown had always trusted Silver and looked up to her as a leader, but now he wasn’t sure what to think. He couldn’t understand why they would sacrifice an innocent child for their own gain. It all seemed so wrong, and he knew that he had to do something to stop it.
But what could he do? He was just one person, and he didn’t have any power or influence within the group. He began to feel hopeless, and he wondered if he was the only one who felt this way. Did the other Healers know about this plan, and if they did, why weren’t they doing anything to stop it?
Brown sat by the Well of Life, deep in thought, trying to come up with a plan. He knew that he had to do something, but he wasn’t sure what. He felt a sense of duty to protect New Gray and the other Healers, but he didn’t know how to do it. He knew that he had to act fast, before it was too late.
Brown struggled with conflicting emotions as he tried to reconcile his loyalty to Green and his growing mistrust of the Guardian Triangle. He didn’t want to alarm Green about the potential sacrifice of New Gray, but at the same time, he couldn’t just stand by and watch as Silver and White plotted behind everyone’s backs. Brown also didn’t want to leave New Gray alone with Silver for too long, fearing that something terrible might happen to the young boy.
As a result, Brown began to spend less time defending the parameters of Dreamland and more time training New Gray how to defend himself. He taught him how to track animals, how to navigate the jungle, and how to use a bow and arrow. Brown knew that he couldn’t protect New Gray forever, so he wanted to make sure that the boy could take care of himself.
Meanwhile, the Guardian Triangle continued to pursue their own agenda, believing that Gray was one of the original twelve contestants within the Simulation and that finding him was essential to their mission. They believed that the ability to procreate within Dreamland was a way to create soldiers who would protect them at all costs for the greater good of humanity outside of the Simulation. Brown couldn’t shake the feeling that something was deeply wrong with this plan.
Silver had been plagued by the dream for weeks now. In her dream, she was pulled out of the Simulation, as if the very fabric of the world had been rent asunder. She was standing on a barren, alien world, with nothing but red dust and a crimson sky as far as the eye could see. The voice of Milo, the enigmatic and unseen force that controlled the Simulation, boomed out across the desolate landscape, announcing to the earth that humans had not passed the test. And then, with a deafening roar, Silver woke up.
It was a dream that left her feeling uneasy, for she felt as though it was a warning of some kind, a message from some higher power that she could not comprehend. And so she began to obsess over the idea that New Gray might actually be Gray reincarnated, which made it all the more critical to ensure that he was not sacrificed before they could determine whether or not he was truly Gray.
It was with this in mind that she asked Gray if she could take New Gray away for a several-day hike. Green obliged, and the two of them set out into the jungle. However, Brown, who had grown increasingly worried about the safety of New Gray, decided to tail them.
As they journeyed deeper into the jungle, Silver began to realize that Brown was following them. She decided to confront him, and asked him to wait while she and New Gray continued on ahead. Brown reluctantly agreed, and Silver took New Gray to the place where Gray had been injured, hoping that something would trigger memories within New Gray if he was a form of reincarnation. However, nothing happened, and Silver began to internalize the situation to mean that New Gray was not Gray after all.
But the dream still lingered in her mind, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to this than she could understand. She began to realize that New Gray’s purpose was not just to be trained and multiplied to protect the original Healers at all costs, but that there was a greater purpose at work here, one that she could not yet comprehend. And so, with a heavy heart, she and New Gray returned to the village, with Brown following close behind.
Chapter Eleven: Sin in Dreamland:
Milo’s intention is to introduce a new layer of challenge and conflict for the contestants/Healers within the ARC Simulation. The concept of “Sin in Dreamland” is a manifestation of the darker aspects of the contestants’ past and present experiences. It represents the inner struggles, regrets, and temptations that every individual faces, and Milo uses it as a tool to test the Healers’ resilience, integrity, and capacity for growth.
The “Creatures of the Night” are the physical manifestations of these sins and negative influences. They are malevolent beings that embody the darkest aspects of human nature, such as greed, jealousy, anger, and selfishness. Each Healer will have to confront their own unique Creature of the Night, tailored to their individual struggles and weaknesses.
Milo’s purpose in creating this legion of beings is to push the Healers to confront and overcome their inner demons. By doing so, he aims to instigate profound personal growth and self-discovery among the contestants. The challenges presented by the Creatures of the Night will not only test the Healers’ physical abilities but also their emotional and psychological strength.
Throughout this chapter, readers will witness the Healers facing their fears, making difficult choices, and ultimately striving to rise above the influence of the Creatures of the Night. This narrative element adds depth to the character arcs, providing opportunities for redemption, forgiveness, and transformation.
As the story progresses, the Healers may discover that the key to defeating the Creatures of the Night lies in unity, trust, and understanding. Through their shared experiences, they learn the importance of supporting one another and working as a team to overcome the challenges set before them.
By introducing the concept of “Sin in Dreamland” and the Creatures of the Night, Milo brings a heightened sense of tension and urgency to the ARC Simulation. The Healers’ journeys become more intricate and emotionally charged, making the reader’s engagement and investment in the story even deeper.
Overall, the intention of “Sin in Dreamland” is to create a compelling and emotionally resonant narrative that explores the human condition, the power of redemption, and the triumph of the human spirit in the face of darkness and adversity.
Milo, the Great Programmer, stood before the twelve Healers, his eyes reflecting the vastness of the cosmos. “Throughout the eons,” he began, his voice echoing through the chamber of the ARC Simulation, “there have been countless civilizations across the universe that have embarked on this journey, attempting to pass the test within the ARC Simulation.”
He paced slowly, his gaze distant yet piercing. “Many have tried, but few have succeeded. Those lifeforms that did not make it, they did not simply vanish into oblivion.” Milo’s expression grew solemn. “Their essence, their memories, their very being became imprinted within the code of the Simulation.”
Milo paused, allowing his words to sink in. “Throughout the course of each Simulation, entities and apparitions appear, manifesting the likeness of these lost souls. They are like shadows, false intimations of immortality, clinging onto the Simulation. They help to direct the flow of the Simulation’s course of actions, influencing events in subtle ways.”
He turned to face the Healers directly. “As the 10,000 cycles commence, you will encounter these entities. They are known as the CONs, or Creatures of the Night. Initially, they are bound within the Great Beyond, the outskirts of Dreamland. But do not be fooled by their initial passivity.”
Milo’s voice deepened with urgency. “With each passing cycle, the CONs grow in number, intellect, and rage. They are the remnants of failed aspirations, the collective anguish of civilizations that couldn’t achieve the pinnacle of immortality.”
His gaze swept over the Healers. “You must be vigilant. As Dreamland progresses towards the end time, these CONs will become more prevalent, more aggressive. They represent the challenges you must overcome, the trials you must face to prove humanity’s worthiness.”
Milo clasped his hands together, his face etched with intensity. “Their goal is singular – to prevent humanity’s success within the Simulation. They are the embodiment of failures past, a reminder of what’s at stake.”
A map of Dreamland materialized before them, showing the Great Beyond. “This is where they reside, lurking in the shadows, growing stronger with your progress. As Healers, your task is not only to survive but to thrive amidst these adversities.”
He pointed to the heart of Dreamland. “Here lies your salvation and your ultimate test. The CONs are a test of your resolve, your ability to transcend fear and despair.”
Milo stepped back, his figure seeming to merge with the starscape behind him. “Remember, each cycle you endure, each challenge you overcome, brings humanity closer to a destiny among the stars. The fate of your species lies in your hands.”
With a final, lingering look at the Healers, Milo’s voice softened. “Be brave, be wise, and may the light of hope guide you through the darkness.” As he faded into the backdrop of the Simulation, the Healers were left with a profound sense of purpose and the daunting realization of the journey ahead.
Milo, the eternal archangel and observer of the cosmos, sat in his sanctum, the glow of countless stars illuminating his ethereal form. His fingers danced across a holographic interface, capturing his thoughts in a journal that spanned eons. He began to document his latest observations, his voice a soft murmur in the vast silence of space.
“Each activation of the ARC Simulation,” he mused, “unveils the grotesque nature of the CONs, the Creatures of Night. These entities, born from the remnants of failed civilizations, grow increasingly wicked with each cycle. Their evolution is a testament to the corrupting influence of despair and defeat.”
Milo’s eyes, ancient and wise, reflected a deep sadness. “Among these wretched beings, one stands out in its malevolence – The King of Evil. This entity is unique, a horrifying amalgamation of an entire team that once sought to cheat the Simulation. In their hubris, they merged into a singular entity, hoping to exploit the system. Instead, they became ensnared in their own corruption, their souls entwined in an eternal dance of darkness.”
He continued, his words flowing like a cosmic stream. “The King of Evil is a poignant reminder of the dangers of sin. Its form is a grotesque tapestry of souls, each twisted by their own malevolence. It roams Dreamland, a shadow of despair, seeking to escape its prison and spread its corruption.”
Milo paused, his thoughts drifting to the Healers currently within the Simulation. “The wickedness of sin manifests in many forms within Dreamland. It preys on fear, doubt, and despair. The CONs, under the influence of The King of Evil, seek to amplify these negative emotions, to break the spirit of the Healers.”
He sighed, a sound like the whisper of a distant galaxy. “The King of Evil, in its relentless pursuit of freedom, grows more cunning with each cycle. It has learned the art of deception, of twisting reality to suit its vile intentions. It sows discord and chaos, hoping to fracture the unity of the Healers.”
Milo’s journal filled with the history of civilizations consumed by darkness. “Countless worlds have fallen prey to the lures of The King of Evil. It embodies the collective failures of a billion souls, each adding to its malevolent strength.”
He leaned back, his gaze lost in the unfathomable depths of the universe. “This cycle, the Healers from Earth face a monumental challenge. They must not only survive the trials of Dreamland but also resist the insidious influence of The King of Evil. The creature’s hunger for escape grows with each passing moment, its desperation palpable in the cold air of the Simulation.”
Milo’s voice became a solemn prayer. “I have witnessed the rise and fall of empires, the birth and death of stars, but the struggle within Dreamland remains one of the most profound trials in the cosmos.”
He closed his eyes, a gesture of reverence. “I pray to God, the creator and ruler of all that is good, to guide these Healers. May their hearts remain pure, their wills unbroken. In their unity, may they find the strength to overcome the darkness that seeks to ensnare them.”
His journal entry complete, Milo sent his thoughts and prayers into the cosmos, a beacon of light in the endless dark. He watched over the Simulation, a guardian angel for the souls embroiled in the eternal battle between good and evil.
